I have a lot to be thankful for this week. This past weekend brought a lot of joy and really refreshed my perspective about my upcoming projects. Even though I didn’t document my gratitudes this weekend, I’m still making a habit of being thankful for what’s in my life.
- I am grateful for my friends who look out for me
- I am grateful that I am healthy and ready to participate in the CrossFit Open, which starts this week on Friday
- I am thankful for this Fall weather, even if it’s rainy and bleak
If you’re having a hard time feeling thankful, think of something that brings you joy. Be thankful that you have the ability to care for something other than yourself (a plant, a pet, a child, a spouse, a friend, etc); be thankful you have the ability to love others; or be thankful that a Higher Being recognizes your purpose and keeps you here to fulfill it.
