If you’re participating in the CrossFit Open, you know how taxing it is. It’s a tough cycle of workouts and it mentally wears you down. I talked about some techniques to prepare for the Open Workouts, but let’s talk about some recovery from the first workout, 20.1.
20.1 burned the lungs and the quads.
- 10 Rounds for Time: 8 Ground to overhead (snatch or clean and jerk) and then 10 bar-facing-burpees, 15-minute time cap.
This week, recover well and prepare for 20.2 properly. For sure follow all of my tips on preparing since that won’t vary week to week; Active Life, a company that teaches coaches higher level programming for injuries and other issues related to athletics, published a recovery sequence specifically for 20.1.
