So yesterday I had A LOT of energy because I was so excited about the handstand pushups and other handstand work yesterday at CrossFit. I always loved and wanted to learn how to do the gymnastic work, but my parents could never afford to send me as a kid. My anxiety also prolongs the development of skills because I have a hard time getting comfortable.

Anyhow, today I am especially thankful for:
- My body’s ability to push and keep learning
- Great teachers like Ashley Geisinger, who helped me out with the kick up (she’s a true, badass woman who I admire a ton)
- Just everything. It’s a great week.
If you’re having a rough day, be thankful for what your body can do. It can play, run, nurture, experience emotions, persevere, and above all, love others.
