Daily Gratitude: 11/3/2019

Sunday is usually a day of rest and peace for me. I prepare for the week ahead and ensure all my ducks are in a row. Today is no different, but the crisp air this morning reminds me that it’s fall and it’s bringing me a lot of solace.

Right now, the planets are in Mercury Retrograde, which, for those of you not familiar with astrology or how the planets can affect us, this is usually a time of communication chaos: airline tickets get lost, you miscommunicate your feelings, or friendships become overwhelming.

This retrograde, however, at least for me, gives me pause and reflection on everything that happened so far this year and I feel as if I’m turning over a new leaf. This retrograde is a time of rebirth.

Today, I am thankful for:

  • All the experiences, hardships, and triumphs that led me to this kitchen table that I’m sitting at now, writing this blog.
  • All the wonderful people that I have met this year and those that left. You’ve all taught me an invaluable lesson and some of you are truly here to stay.
  • All the opportunities I’ve had for professional and personal development, opportunities to travel and explore a new activity or place.

If you’re having a tough time, today, be thankful for the month of October and all that you faced and conquered. October, for most, was full of emotion and challenges. The month pushed us to our limits and felt like a rollercoaster. Ponder just a few things you overcame this month and be thankful for their role in your life.

Tell me, what are you thankful for?

If you know someone who could use a little inspiration, please share this with them on your favorite social media.

In love and light,
