So yesterday was a mess.
I found out that someone skimmed off my credit card number and got away with over $450 in charges over the last 6 days. This cold is still breaking up and I’m certain I sounded like I was dying.
I’m still powering through and working with what I’ve got. I didn’t miss a workout this week and I get a massage tomorrow (yay), so I’m ready for a relaxing weekend.
That being said, today I am thankful for:
- The new skills I’m learning outside of work and pushing to put myself in a better position
- Staying optimistic and being able to laugh at the things that would normally send me over the edge (like this debit card theft and the server at Chipotle backhanding my burrito bowl off the counter last night)
- My parents’ safe return from their trip to Nashville to see my other relatives
If you’re having a tough time today, be thankful for the little things that get you through the day. Like getting a burrito bowl from Chipotle or looking forward to that workout when the workday is over. Whether we realize it or not, these are the things that keep us going when things get tough. It helps us take everything one day, hour, or minute at a time.
In love and light,
