Where did this week go?
I haven’t been that busy this week (at least I don’t think) but it feels like this week just flew by. Maybe it’s just that I completed everything I needed to get done this week and now my thoughts and decisions will marinate over the weekend.
Regardless, we’re at the end of the week, and I’m taking some time to relax with my friends and bake bread. Fresh, warm bread is everything.
Today I am thankful for:
- Understanding my need for self-care and researching how to stick to it.
- The advice from friends and loved ones as I look to make a big career change
- Oatmeal with peanut butter, cinnamon, and a little sugar. So. Good.
If you’re having a rough day, be thankful that the weekend is here. You might be looking forward to a friendsgiving or other weekend event. You might have had a busy week, so now you can have some time to relax and refresh your brain (remember to turn off those work electronics too!).
